The PSA1000 Jr Analog Saturation Unit plugin is a contemporary reinterpretation of a classic analog guitar preamp from the 1990s, renowned in recording studios worldwide. This versatile tool is employed not only for guitars but also for a wide array of instruments including electric pianos, organs, synthesizers, and electric basses.
Beyond its traditional use, the original unit has found a place in the mixing stage for enhancing various sounds such as drum rooms, percussions, vocals, kicks, snares, and sound effects.
Nembrini Audio meticulously recreated the original analog circuits to develop the PSA1000 Jr Analog Saturation Unit plugin, refining it through ear tuning as with all its product offerings.
Introducing modern functionalities, Nembrini Audio has enhanced the PSA1000 Analog Saturation Unit plugin with new features:
- Dry/Wet mix knob for both channels
- Phase Reverse switch to replicate the genuine phase alterations experienced when used in parallel in the analog unit
- In and Out level knobs for enhanced flexibility
This plugin can function as a standalone app, an AudioUnit v3 effect, or an Inter-App Audio effect.
